BESAME

also known as Vanessa Nguyen, is a community organizer, artist, and curator based in Oakland, CA. She is known for organizing a diverse array of events from intimate rare live concerts and pop-up art shows to large-scale art and music celebrations, such as Oakland Music Festival. As an artist and curator, BESAME aims to present new + local ideas to a multiplicity of crowds, thereby creating refreshing dialogue that stems from immediate difference.
