Bruce Hainley with TSC
Bruce Hainley is the author of Under the Sign of [sic]: Sturtevant’s Volte-Face. He teaches in the Graduate Art program at Art Center College of Design.
TSC (Temporary Study Center) is a long-term initiative focused on art and writing as forms of critical remembrance and counterhistory. TSC will address the place of aesthetics, mourning, resistance, outright refusal, and ambivalence in light of certain so-called progressive politics, sexual and otherwise. Through displays and exhibitions at Objectif Exhibitions (Antwerp), but also magazine essays and inserts, publications and film series elsewhere, TSC will highlight cultural discontentment and contingencies, ways of thinking materialized on the brink of the visual/verbal. objectif-exhibitions.org
