Megan Z. Brian is Assistant Director of Education and Public Practice at SFMOMA which oversees and implements curatorial and pedagogical projects at the museum in the areas of school initiatives, public dialogue, and performance and film. She has written and spoken about performance for/at YBCA, ODC, APAP, and the 2017 Venice Biennale. Megan is also on the Advisory Board for Emerging Arts Professionals, which fosters the next generation of arts leaders. She holds a BA in sociology from Mills College, and an MA from the Institute for Curatorial Practice in Performance at Wesleyan University.
