Patrick James Dunagan

Patrick James Dunagan lives in San Francisco and works at Gleeson Library for the University of San Francisco. He regularly writes for Rain Taxi Review of Books. In 2011 Post Apollo Press published his first full length book "There Are People Who Think That Painters Shouldn't Talk": A GUSTONBOOK. Other books include: Three Heads Gone, with Ava Koohbor & Marina Lazzara (Two Way Mirror); Sketch of the Artist (fmsbw); The Duncan Era: One Poet’s Cosmology (Spuyten Duyvil); Drops of Wine / Drops of Rain (Spuyten Duyvil); from Book of Kings (Bird and Beckett Books); and Das Gedichtete (Ugly Duckling Presse). He recently assembled a portfolio of work honoring David Meltzer for Dispatches from the Poetry Wars. With Nicholas James Whittington and Marina Lazzara he is finalizing editorial work on an anthology of writings from New College of California Poetics Program alumni and faculty.
