Nastia Voynovskaya is a freelance journalist with a passion for culture and activism. She is the former music editor at East Bay Express, Oakland’s alternative weekly, and also served as the online editor of Hi-Fructose Magazine. Her work has appeared in Noisey, KQED, and SF Weekly. Born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, she was raised in the Bay Area and Tampa, Florida. She graduated from UC Berkeley in 2012 and currently resides in Oakland, California.
