Martin Oropeza

Martin Oropeza is a San Francisco native, born and raised in the city’s Mission District. He graduated from San Francisco State University’s celebrated Creative Writing program in 2010 where teachers lauded him as “pretty good.” His writing has been featured in Cipactli and Transfer magazine, as well as on his grandmother’s refrigerator — stuck under a magnet. [This is where a more celebrated writer would put their accomplishments and awards they’ve won.] Marty lives in Oakland with his wife and two cats. He is extremely online.
