Lindsey White

Lindsey White works with photography, video, and sculpture to model a type of sight-gag index, working with the language of magic and comedy to present the unexpected and impossible in everyday life. White’s projects are in the public collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art Library in New York and Portland Art Museum in Oregon. She is also a cofounder of Will Brown, a para-curatorial/artist-run experiment interested in expanding the models and methods of exhibition making as a critical practice. Will Brown organizes exhibitions and events, many of which took place in their former Mission District storefront.
