Jenny Monick

Jenny Monick was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has lived in New York City, more or less, since attending Barnard College, graduating in 1989 with a degree in Anthropology and Comparative Religion. Monick attended The Skowhegan School for Painting and Sculpture in 1999. Her work has been exhibited at venues including White Columns, New York, Kiria Koula, San Francisco, Callicoon, New York, Reserve Ames, Los Angeles, The Aldrich Museum, Ridgefield, CT, Art:Concept, Paris, The Pineapple, Malmo, Sweden, Canada, New York, and The Drawing Center, New York and has been reviewed in Art in America, Art on Paper, Time Out New York, and The New York Times, among others. An artist’s book, 5 Posters, was published in 2018 by Space Sisters Press.
