Ayden LeRoux

Ayden LeRoux is a queer writer, artist, critic, and educator from New England, whose work focuses on the convergence of illness, eroticism, and embodiment. Her essays, fiction, criticism, and translation have appeared in Guernica, LitHub, Catapult, Electric Literature, Palimpsest, Los Angeles Review of Books, Alchemy, edibleManhattan, and Glasstire, among others. Her work has been presented in solo exhibitions at IDIO Gallery, Flux Factory, and the Institute for American Art. In addition to her own practice, Ayden collaborates frequently and is the Assistant Director of Odyssey Works, an interdisciplinary performance group. She is the author of two books related to their work, Isolation and Amazement (Samsara Press, 2013), and Odyssey Works: Transformative Experiences for an Audience of One (Princeton Architectural Press, 2016), co-authored with long-time collaborator Abraham Burickson.
