Silk Worm

Silk Worm creates performances and video works that focus stubbornly on trans history and life. Pre-pandemic, she performed regularly in drag at beloved Bay Area queer bars like the Stud and Aunt Charlie’s Lounge and co-directed the platform HUSH-HUSH as a producer and curator. She has shown her work at the Berkeley Art Museum, the Cantor Center for the Arts, 2727 California Street, Fierce! Festival, the Pittsburgh Performance Art Festival, HIT Gallery, and h0L0, among others. As a performer, Silk has appeared in the work of Mica Sigourney, Sara Lyons, Jules Litman-Cleper, and other artists. Silk is known as a very good sport. www.silkwormqueen.com
