Roberta Lavadour

Roberta Lavadour lives and works in rural Eastern Oregon where she has served the Pendleton Center for the Arts for more than sixteen years, fourteen as executive director. PCA is a multi-faceted community arts organization that features contemporary exhibits, fine craft gallery, literary arts, and live music series, and an art and music education program. Lavadour also maintains an active studio practice creating artist’s books and design bindings that are widely exhibited and collected. She has been recognized with an Oregon Visual Arts Fellowship and a Career Opportunity Grant from the Oregon Arts Commission, among other awards. She holds a Liberal Studies degree from Oregon State University with a focus on communications and community development.
