Mike Henderson

Mike Henderson was born in Marshall, Missouri. He came to San Francisco to study art at the San Francisco Art Institute where he received a BFA and MFA. He was a Professor of Art at UC Davis from 1970–2013. He has toured Europe as a Blues musician and shared the stage with the likes of Lightnin’ Hopkins, John Lee Hooker, Jimmy Reed, Sunnyland Slim, Albert Collins, Mike Bloomfield, Jerry Garcia, Bob James and many more. He is represented by the Haines Gallery, 49 Geary St., San Francisco.
