George Albon

George Albon’s book of essays Lyric Multiples: Aspiration, Practice, Immanence, Migration was published by Nightboat in 2018. Earlier books of poetry include Fire Break (Nightboat, 2013); Momentary Songs (Krupskaya, 2008); Step (Post-Apollo, 2006); and Brief Capital of Disturbances (Omnidawn, 2003). The latter was Small Press Traffic’s Book of the Year for 2004; Fire Break won the Best Poetry Book of 2013 from the Northern California Independent Bookseller Association. He is the sole member of the unknown alt-folk group The Sheaves. His just-finished first novel, Twister, is searching for a publisher. He lives in San Rafael, California.
