David Kelley is an interdisciplinary artist whom works at the intersection of the body and landscape. His experimental documentary and ethnographic practices make use of experimental film, choreographic and performance strategies.
His works have been shown internationally in galleries and museums. He has had recent solo and two person shows at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and Commonwealth and Council Gallery in Los Angeles. Recent group exhibitions include The Bank in Shanghai, the de Cordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Boston, Basis Voor Actuele Kunst in Utrecht, MAAP Space in Brisbane, and the Jim Thompson Art Center in Bangkok.
His work is included in upcoming exhibitions at Nichols Gallery of Pitzer College and at New Mexico State University in the Currents: Santa Fe International New Media Festival.
