Born and raised in Ithaca, NY, Clara studied Art History and Photography at Connecticut College, the Maine Photographic Workshops (now the Maine Media Workshops), Rayko Photography, and the San Francisco Art Institute, as well as Museum Studies and Business at John F. Kennedy University. Clara has taught children’s art and photography workshops internationally and throughout the Bay Area, and has worked in museums for nearly fifteen years. Clara is currently the Communications Manager at SFMOMA, helping tell and shape the important stories about the museum, its projects, and its people.
