Timoleon Wilkins

Timoleon Wilkins has been making 8mm and 16mm films since he was twelve years old. A student and friend of Stan Brakhage, he lived in San Francisco for nearly a decade and served as president of the board at Canyon Cinema in the mid-1990s. His writings have been widely published. From 1997 to 2001 Wilkins worked as assistant to filmmaker/artist Bruce Conner and oversaw the film printing/restoration of films for Conner’s retrospective 2000 BC: The Bruce Conner Story (Walker Arts Center, 2000). Since 2007 he has been employed as theater manager at UCLA Film & Television Archive.
