Rico Solinas was born in Oakland, Ca., in 1954. He’s lived in Oakland; Visalia; Washington, D.C.; Santa Barbara; Guayaquil, Ecuador; Sacramento; and San Francisco. He received a BA from The College of Creative Studies UCSB, a Secondary Teaching Credential from San Francisco State, and an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. His book
