Hiroyo Kaneko

Hiroyo Kaneko is a photographer currently based in San Francisco. She was born in Aomori, Japan, received her MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and a BA in French literature from Meiji Gakuin University, Tokyo. Her work has been exhibited extensively in the United States and Japan at spaces including SFMOMA, the Headlands Center for the Arts, the San Francisco Art Commission Gallery, Rayko Photo Center, the Nagasaki City Library, and the National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo. Her work is in the permanent collections of SFMOMA, Rayko Photo Center, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
