Elizabeth Thomas

Elizabeth Thomas is a curator and writer, currently working independently. She recently curated Katharina Grosse’s installation psychylustro along Philadelphia’s Northeast Rail Corridor and is developing public commissions with Michael Rakowitz and Andrea Bowers through a new collaborative public practice agency she is initiating. She has previously been MATRIX Curator at the UC Berkeley Art Museum, Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at Carnegie Museum of Art, and curatorial fellow at the Walker Art Center. She lectures and publishes frequently, and has served as faculty in both curatorial practice and graduate fine arts at California College of the Arts.
