Joe Goode, choreographer and founder/director of the Joe Goode Performance Group, talks about three “moments of transformation”: witnessing dancer Judith Jamison in Virginia, composer/performer Meredith Monk in New York, and poet Leslie Scalapino in San Francisco. He finishes by reading one of Scalapino’s poems.
