Richard O. Moore was a poet, filmmaker, and public broadcasting executive. He talks about how, when he was a student at UC Berkeley in 1939, his fellow student Pauline Kael introduced him to poets Kenneth Rexroth and Robert Duncan, among others. “Whether I recognized it or not, my education had begun.”
