Mass Violence Landing Pages

Some of the twentieth century’s most intense episodes of mass violence have homepages, maintained by people and institutions with a vested interest in preserving the memory of the murdered. Some of these websites are well-resourced and regularly maintained, while others are unadorned, neglected, poorly constructed, or strange. All are sincere testimonial gestures, and their continuities and contrasts hint at a digital aesthetic of twentieth century mass violence remembrance.
