Thanks Meg! I am really just sharing some ideas and interpretations of the research I’ve been engrossed in… I do hope that the diagrams can be interesting or useful sparks for conversations. Of course the diagrams are simplifications. For example, the 10 dimensions of creative personalities, diagrammed above, are elaborated at length in a full chapter in Csikszentmihalyi’s book… I think he was interested in dismantling some of the negative stereotypes about artists, and recognizing the paradoxical characteristics that creative personalities can exhibit… I think about the proud/humble spectrum often…
