Unruly Animalia: 2 of 6

Inspired by the life cycle of tardigrades and their incredible resilience. The unruly nature of the tardigrade existence reminds me of the Black queer child cultivated in a society that seeks to destroy such a child. Writing through abjection has provided another means by which to stage the resilience of my own body growing up in San Francisco, and the seeming smallness of such a life.
